Terms of Service
Last updated 4 June 2026
These terms govern your use of Quack. By creating an account or joining a session you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
The service
Quack lets you build interactive decks and run live quizzes and polls that an audience joins from their phones. We may change, add, or remove features over time.
Your account & acceptable use
You’re responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Don’t use Quack to break the law, infringe others’ rights, upload harmful or unlawful content, or disrupt the service or other users.
Plans, billing & cancellation
Paid plans (Quack Plus) are subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly, processed by Stripe. Prices are shown excluding VAT/sales tax; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout from your billing details. New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial - cancel during the trial and you pay nothing. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel anytime in the billing portal and keep access until the end of the period already paid. Except where the law requires otherwise, amounts already paid are not refunded; if you are a consumer in the EU/UK you may withdraw within 14 days of a purchase and receive a refund reduced proportionally for the service already provided. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance; they take effect at your next renewal.
Your content
You keep ownership of the decks and media you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, and display that content so we can run the service for you (for example, showing your slides to participants). You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.
AI-generated content
“Create with AI” uses a third-party model to draft slides from your prompt. AI output can be inaccurate or unoriginal - review and edit it before you present. You’re responsible for the decks you publish or present.
Availability & warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
<<INSERT LIABILITY LIMITATION REVIEWED BY COUNSEL>> - to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.
Termination
You can stop using Quack and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached.
